It has been an incredible year for the film The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz! 

After a remarkable festival run where we screened in some of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, The Internet’s Own Boy was released in late June to overwhelmingly positive reviews. Here we are in the New York Times, who picked us as a NYTimes Critic’s Pick and here is Richard Roeper’s review of the film. We’ve also won lots of awards. Some of the highlights were when Michael Moore picked us for his Founder’s Prize at the Traverse City Film Festival, we were the opening night film at Hot Docs, we won the Youth Jury Award at the Sheffield Doc Fest as well as the Social Justice Award at the Lopht Film Festival.

Of course the best was saved for a few weeks ago. We were singled out as one of the top films of 2014!  This is an unbelievable honor and of course we are urging as many people as possible to see the film. We will know the first or second week in January if we are nominated, but the news is truly amazing. Between now and then any help getting out the word is greatly appreciated!

You can still also urge those who haven’t seen it, to watch it in all sorts of ways, even on iTunes now for only .99, where we are currently in the top 10 most popular films. 

We also have good news (finally) about our DVDs, they will be available January 20th!
