U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara has portrayed himself to be an anti-corruption crusader. But activists showed up outside a Midtown office building, where Mr. Bharara was delivering remarks, to hold the top federal prosecutor in Manhattan accountable for unfinished corruption investigations.
Activists called on Mr. Bharara to complete his investigations into the Moreland Commission scandal and into the controversial electioneering work by lobbying firm, The Advance Group. Activists also called on Mr. Bharara to launch investigations into the corrupt 911 emergency call ECTP system and into NYPD corruption, including Internal Affairs.
