Mayor Bloomberg Amanda Burden Zone Busting on the Water Fronts NYC

I was sent this post and comment but oopsie left out the fact Bloomberg and the most awful worst corrupt city planner commissioner EVER Amanda the People's Burden also pushed zone busting builds on the Water in every borough they could plus they pushed Rudin luxury condos rather than a trauma level 1 hospital with a rape crisis center like St. Vincent's.

The geniuses that designed and approved terminal should have been aware the climate changes that have been forecasting for several decades.
The train stations at union square have been flooding.
Obviously designers of train stations do not learn from the past mistakes.
They are happy to continue to make the same mistakes over and over.

Scientists have told us for years that the sea level is rising. They have said that with climate changes and the rising sea level that we are in for more severe and frequent storms like sandy.

I guess the geniuses that designed a terminal just above sea level should have thought to try to make it withstand  a storm.

The MTA is happy with making the same mistakes over and over again.
Politicians should call out the MTA and the failed designers of the terminal.

The entrances for the train should have been included inside the ferry terminal so riders of at least a few of the train  lines do not have to go outside and freeze in the winter and sweat in the summer.Their should be more escalators to move people at at quicker pace.

Also make it easier for tourist so they do not get lost. Color coded signs to make it easier for tourist to find the ferry to the statue of liberty.

The greatest city in the world gets terminals fit for the bottom city's in the world
