Governor Cuomo wants to use Brooklyn patients as his guinea pigs for his for-profit healthcare “pilot project.” His first step: close Interfaith and Long Island College Hospital.
Nurses and community leaders have a packed schedule this week: we’re speaking at a Bed-Stuy community Board hearing on Monday, canvassing Fulton Street on Tuesday, and going to a Brooklyn town hall on Wednesday.
Our mobilization will culminate in a press conference this Friday at 9:00 AM at Brooklyn Borough Hall, at the corner of Court and Remsen Streetsin downtown Brooklyn.Interfaith RN Ari Moma will then speak at a hearing on the Brooklyn healthcare crisis, sponsored byNY Assemblyman Richard Gottfried.
Help educate other nurses, patients, family, and friends about the governor's mad plan to experiment on our patients
