Medical Community Dr. Fagelman Delita Hooks Assaulted Patient

Dear Medical Communithy:
Watch Dr. Fagelman, a medical internists receptionist office manager violently assault me -- you see just the beginning....and note Dr. Andrew Fagelman did not fire her.
She returned to her desk and the NYPD who are being investigated did not arrest her.

Watch -- Dr. Andrew Fagelman 155 Spring St. 4th Floor did not fire her.

She irrationally berated me, stalked me around the office -- menaced me for what?  No patient deserves to be assaulted -- no one does

---- no one deserves to be assaulted.

There is no way any patient deserves the attack I endured.

I went in to get a cyst removed -- my arm had 2 injections to remove a cyst.

Delita Hooks smiled after she violently gave me the finger so I turned on my video.

I never put down my heavy bag on my left shoulder , my arm numb,  in my right hand my iphone and
you can see her take off her shoes to run at me full force with the intention to punch me in the eye
-- I now have a hole in my retina that was repaired Friday.

My neck was in bad shape but worse shape now because she grabbed my hair after she punched me in the eye
and she would not let go.

After hitting me three times I defended myself without putting down my bags and phone.

Dr. Andrew Fagelman did not fire her and she returned to her desk right after attacking me and lying about what happened.

The NYPD involved fixed it using Delita Hooks committing yet another crime which my video proves -- she walked in to the First Precinct and filed a false complaint

I was punched in the eye by his staff person who works the front desk.  Her name is Dee.  I had been in to get a small cyst removed by an MD that shares the suite.   After I went to get water from the cooler and made a remark -- hey could you replace styrofoam cups with paper -- it is better for the environment.  Dee yelled at me who am I to say anything?  I said it's called the 1st Amendment.  She yelled bizarre untruths about me leaving trash in the waiting room.  I walked over to my MD assistants and she followed me for some reason.  Than as I left we crossed paths and she gave me the finger.  At that point as I was leaving I got out my video camera and said please give me the finger again.  She knocked my Iphone to the ground which I told her is assault.  She knocked my phone out of my hand again and than told me she was going to slap the crap out of me! "Don't take no frigging pictures."  Dee than removed her shoes and ran over to me  punched me in the eye and ripped hair out of my head.  I have scratches on my arm.  I have video footage.  I am missing a large pink hooping earring but she did not rip my ear lobe.  Dr. Fagelman never said a word to me.  I have a video that is shocking the medical community but I am waiting to talk to lawyers before I post on YouTube.  The video is shocking.

Dee also tried to kick me in the groin. She barely made contact, not enough to hurt me.  I got the beginning of the attack but as she runs at me and punches me the camera fades to black.  You can her Dr. Fagelman's staff yell "Don't do it Dee!".

It also appears Dee may have thrown one of her shoes at me before she lunges at me out in the hall way and punches me in the eye.

Go to yelp -- there are a lot of critical reviews and it looks like Dr Fagelman had to ask some friends sto help him out.

A NYC Schoolteacher told me Delita Hooks is a  #&%*# but she went to Fagelman because her healthcare doesn’t give her many options.  She gave them both a thumbs down.

Only in NYC could a staff member of a MD assault a patient -- another patient’s MD -- my MD Dr. Vine and her partner vacated the offices!

I hesitate to recommend Dr. Fagelman.

As a physician I would give him four stars, but running a practice is more than being a good doctor. My problem lies in his staff's consistent operational inefficiencies and lack of expertise.

On my first visit I waited an hour and forty-five minutes for ten minutes of his time. During that visit one of his staff members clearly didn't understand the medical equipment she was using, evidenced by her needing help plugging it into the wall. She continued to improperly use the equipment throughout my appointment.

Things happen. Maybe it was a bad day, so I didn't draft a review. Then...

On a follow-up visit I waited 40 minutes for a vaccine that should have taken five and was placated with a blood pressure check. When I questioned the routine the staffer shrugged her shoulders, said that's what she does and left me waiting in a room without any idea of when to expect the doctor. A routine vaccine turned into an hour of wasted time. I expressed my concern with Dr. Fagelman and he seemed genuinely concerned.

I like Dr. Fagelman. He's a personable and professional physician. His office is also very close to mine, so a lot of my coworkers go to him. Sadly, they have experienced the same frustrations with his practice, which prompted me to write this review with the optimism that he takes this to heart, adopts a more efficient process, and hires a more qualified medical staff.

Do not do not do not do NOT see this doctor. I cannot stress this enough; he doesn't know what he's doing. I went to him with a rash and he gave me antibiotics and a cream. I later spoke to a friend who had also gone to him with a rash, and she said he misdiagnosed her nearly a dozen times before she went to another doctor. She then found out she had scabes and had developed eczema from all the treatments he prescribed her.

So I went to another doctor for a second opinion and she WINCED when she saw what Fagleman had prescribed me. Thank God I went to see her when I did--she said the cream he gave me should never be used on a condition like mind.

      Don't go to Fagleman!

Andrew Fagelman was one of the worst doctors I have ever seen.  I do not have a regular doctor in the city yet, so when I came down with a pretty serious throat infection, I got on my insurance's website and did a search for a doctor and basically went down the list to see who could take me last min.  I was in a lot of pain and my tonsils were swollen to the point where my voice was extremely muffled when I talked and I was barely able to swallow.  The experience in his office was normal at first.  The ladies at the front desk were disorganized and not very professional, but that didn't bother me much.  The nurse that took my vitals was nice enough.  But my complaint is with the doctor himself.

First of all, the room where he examines patients also doubles as his office.  You walk in, on the left there is your normal examination bed/chair with the white paper over it.  To the right is a large desk, CEO wheely chair, complete with enormous computer and all the trimmings.  He encouraged me to set in a chair in front of the desk while he sat at the computer.  I felt like I had been called into my boss's office, and the level of respect was about the same.

Then he proceeded to finish making a few calls, one to a man that he told his chlamydia test had come back positive.  Great, I need to sit in on that convo with a 102 fever feeling like I'm about to die.  Then while I was trying to tell him my symptoms he continued to type on his computer, answering emails, surfing the internet, who knows.  Just when I thought I might get his attention, when he was done with the calls and the computer, he pulled out his Blackberry and starts typing away on it.

I doubt he heard anything I said.  Being a new patient I was trying to explain my past history of throat infections so he could evaluate my current condition more effectively.  But instead, he looks at my throat for 30 seconds, and then prescribes an antibiotic that turned out to do nothing, leaving me to be sick for over a week and end up in a ear, nose and throat specialist's office and almost the ER.  I could tell the ENT doctor was trying to be nice, but she clearly stated at one point that she had no idea why he would prescribe me with the medication that he did, that it is the least affective antibiotic for this sort of thing.

WOW!  I will never return to see Dr. Fagelman again.  I don't recommend anyone else see him if they value their health.
